Mask Up – Surgical (not cloth) Masks Required!

We ask that you kindly “mask up” BEFORE entering any of our buildings.   A mask will be provided if needed.  Thank you for keeping our residents safe!

Sealcoating of Campus of Anna Maria Parking Lot and Driveways

Dear Family Members & Responsible Parties:

We will be closing portions of parking lots on Campus on the below specific dates to perform sealcoating work. Please take a quick look at the attached color-coded map to see what areas will be closed. Thanks in advance for your understanding.   We strongly advise that families avoid visitation on the dates stated below:

Day 1 – Red Image – Sunday, July 18

Day 2 – Yellow Image – Wednesday, July 21

Day 3 – Green Image – Friday, July 23

Congratulations Evan Webster! Grand Marshal

We are so excited to announce that our own Evan Webster, Marketing Manager for the Campus of Anna Maria of Aurora Assisted and Independent Living, was chosen as the Grand Marshal for the City of Aurora 4th of July Parade.   We are so proud of this honor bestowed upon Evan.  He is an outstanding citizen and employee.

Save the Date! Anna Maria Classic Car Show – Saturday, August 21 – 9am to 1pm

This year’s car show will be bigger and better than ever!  Come on down to Anna Maria (main parking lot) on Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 9am to 1pm.   Door prizes, 50/50 raffle, chance auction, great food, and of course, lots and lots of classic cars!  Stay tuned for more information….

Welcome Back Families! Indoor Visitation Restrictions Lifted

Indoor visitation resumes for nursing home residents on Monday, March 22.  *All visits must be registered through the SignUp Genius link.  No walk-ins permitted!  Assisted and independent living indoor visitation, currently in Norwood “B” area, will revert to room visits on Wednesday, March 24.  ** Please refer to the red Visitation Updates and Information tab (above) for specific guidelines on indoor visitation.   Any questions, please contact the activities department of your building:  Anna Maria:  Aubrie Rivera, 330 562-6171 x236 – Kensington:  Tiffany Bland, 330 562-3120 – Assisted/Independent Living:  Lisa McFarland, 330 562-6171 x234.

Assisted / Independent Living Indoor Visitation to Resume Monday, February 8, 2021

Good news!  Indoor visitation for assisted and independent living will resume on Monday, February 8, 2021, as long as weekly testing remains negative.  Unfortunately, nursing home indoor visitation remains suspended.  As before, visits must be scheduled in advance through the SignUp Genius link, https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0e49a4ac2babff2-independentassist.  We appreciate our visitors adhering to the following  guidelines at all times.  Any questions, please contact Lisa McFarland, AL/IL Activities Director at 330 562 6171 x 234 or Administrator Aaron Baker, 330 562-6171 x 201.

  • Two (2) visits per week per resident (not per family)
  • Two (2) visitors per visit
  • Visits are limited to 25 minutes (please be punctual)
  • No cloth masks (surgical or KN95 or N95).  Mask must cover mouth AND nose at all times
  • No outside food or beverage or pets
  • Temperature will be taken upon check-in

We appreciate your understanding and patience during these difficult and trying.  We do hope for better and brighter days ahead as more residents and staff receive the Covid-19 vaccine.

 

Aurora Chamber of Commerce Trunk or Treat

The Campus of Anna Maria participated in the Aurora Chamber of Commerce “Trunk or Treat” at the Hartman Fields.  Twenty local businesses distributed goodies to socially-distanced “drive-by” trick-or-treaters.  What a great time!   The Anna Maria “haunted bus” won the “Most Creative” award.

Transition to Indoor Visitation -Register through SignUp Genius

Anna Maria and Kensington Begin Outdoor Family Visitations for Nursing Facility Residents

Outdoor visitation begins on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.   Families have been notified via email regarding the specifics of how visitation will work.  ** If you did not receive an email from Aaron Baker or Chris Norton, please call 330 562-6171 ASAP.   Visitation is by APPOINTMENT ONLY through SignUpGenius.  We are excited to begin these visitations!
